An Award Winning Practice
We have been fortunate in that our commitment to patient care and Quality of Service has been recognised.
In 1994 we were the National Winners of the Corsodyl Award for "Best Practice". This was awarded after a independent survey of asked our patients what they thought of how we looked after them.
We have been nominated four times for the Denplan Practice of the Year Award.
In 1999 we were selected as one of the pilot practices for the Denplan Excel Accreditation programme, designed to identify quality practices and further improve standards of patient care.
In 2000 we were delighted to have been selected as regional finalists for the new Denplan Practice Team of the Year Award. This was after being nominated by our patients, and then providing information about how the practice works and delivers quality dental care, and then being visited by the judges from Denplan. The results and prize giving ceremony were to be held on the 15th September, but due to the fuel crisis this has been postponed to the 3rd November.
We were particularly pleased with doing well in this award because it recognises the commitment of the entire dental team to Quality Service.
2000 Survey results
As part of the Denplan Excel Accreditation Programme, a survey of our patients is carried out by an independent research organization, to discover what they think about us. We have just been given the report of this survey and are delighted with the results. We scored better than the reference of other Denplan Excel practices (themselves some of the best dental practices in the UK) in nearly all areas, including 100% for the friendly manner of the dentists, dental nurses, receptionists and practice manager!.90% said that we gave excellent/good for value for money
90.1% already have or definitely would recommend us to a friend
And even better, 98.7% of our patients rated our service overall as excellent/good
