The Dental Laboratory

The contribution of the dental laboratory is vital. We work closely with several laboratories to provide the best results.

We do a lot of work with the team led by John Wibberley and Martin Fletcher at Portland Ceramics. They are extremely skilled at occlusal rehabilitation and implantology, and have recently been able to provide Procera all ceramic crowns, from Nobel Biocare which can be used in all positions in the mouth, with extremely good aesthetic results. The overall quality of their work is the best we have ever encountered from a dental laboratory.

We also do a lot of work with Philip Smith from Hamilton Smith. Philip is one of England's most highly skilled aesthetic dental technicians. He prefers to be involved with the complete process from visualization to final execution. He will usually come to the practice for shade taking and for try in of the restoration. He has particular skill with IPS Empress ceramics, possibly the most aesthetic dental ceramic material yet developed.
