Six finalists battled for the Glyn Williams six-a-sides Cup in two groups at Mabley Green on Wednesday.
Group A was won handsomely by Orchard School. Their two straight wins guaranteed them a final spot while Holmleigh finished second and Gayhurst third.
Group B was a much closer affair and needed a play-off between Gainsborough and Lauriston to determine the outcome in favour of Lauriston School. Gainsborough were runners-up and Amherst finished in third place.
Orchard quickly established their supremacy in the Final against their local rivals, Lauriston. Distirct striker Anthony Ocei-Roach put them one up after just two minutes and scored again late in the second-half after Joshua White had notched the second completing a convincing 3-0 win
Orchard, who were the very first winners of the Glyn Williams Cup in 1977, will now represent Hackney in the Inner London Finals of the National E.S.F.A. adidas six-a-side Cup at the Douglas Eyre Centre on 9th December.
