TOUR MATCH
Played at Douglas Eyre on 24th February 2001
HACKNEY UNDER 11's 1, GLOUCESTER U.11's 0.

A last-gasp goal from substitute mid-fielder ANDRE WILLIAMS-SABAROCHE earned Hackney a victory which they just about deserved.
Touring Gloucester had defended gallantly through the second-half and restricted Hackney to two long-range free-kicks from Gordon both of which were comfortably saved, but as a draw seemed inevitable, Williams-Sabaroche at last broke clear of his marker in the very last minute and squeezed the ball past the advancing goalkeeper into the net.
Earlier, Gloucester had shown some enterprise before Hackney found their feet but could not stretch Hackney's stand-in goalkeeper, Jordan Thomas.

Hackney Under 11's: Thomas, Osei-Roach (Orchard), Atherley-Buckridge (St.John of Jerusalem), Osei-Poku (St. Thomas's), Olasanoye (St.Monica's), Edun (Holmleigh), Langsdon (Grazebrook), Yilmaz (Millfields), McIntyre (Baden Powell), Duyile (Holy Trinity), Gordon (Daubeney).
Subs: Smith (Berger), Williams-Sabaroche (Tyssen), James (William Patten).
