INTER-DISTRICT MATCH
Played at Douglas Eyre Sports Centre on Saturday 6th January 2001
Hackney Under 11's 2, Luton Under 11's 0.

Striker NATHANIEL GORDON hit two second half goals at Douglas Eyre on Saturday to sink a strong Luton side and give Hackney the best possible start to the New Year.
The Daubeney School forward gave notice of his intentions when he was sent clear by Langsdon after just ten minutes but his fierce cross-shot was turned away.
When the same move was repeated in the second-half, after a long spell of Luton pressure, he gave the 'keeper no chance with a twenty-yard sizzler.
Luton now found their best attacking form and Hackney 'keeper Thomas had to be at his best to keep them at bay, but relief came as Gordon again outwitted the Luton defence to fire home his second and conclusive goal.
