INTER-DISTRICT MATCH
Hackney Under 11' s 2, Orpington Under 11's 5
Hackney lost influential mid-fielder Dominic Suckley with an injury after just five minutes, but they will be disappointed with their overall performance this friendly.
The game started brightly for the home side with Duberry and Simon seeing goal-bound efforts cleared, but Orpington soon began to profit from Hackney's inability to retain possession in mid-field.
The Kent side took the lead just before the interval and added three more before Hackney found their best form the of match. Substitute Doody set up a sweeping left-wing move for Simon to cross perfectly for Duberry to net at the far post. Charlie Fagan then burst forward to hit a fine individual goal but as the visitors notched a fifth goal, Hackney were left to rue their lapses in concentration in vital areas of the field.
