SPARKES MEMORIAL MATCH

HACKNEY Under 11's 4, READING Under 11's 0.

A goalless draw looked the likely outcome of this match with just twelve minutes to play as both sides struggled to break down opposing defences. But Hackney striker KARMAH DUBERRY had different ideas and in the space of ten minutes, he dashed Reading's hopes with four fine goals.
Duberry first turned his marker on the half-way line and ran clear to slide the ball past the advancing goalkeeper and then as Reading pushed forward, midfielders, SCOTT DOODY and CARLO THOMAS exploited the space to provide Duberry with the chances to complete his hat-trick.
Doody and Marcus Simon also went close, but it was Duberry who completed the scoring when CHARLIE FAGAN, Hackney's pivotal mid-fielder gave him the perfect pass to drive home from twenty yards.
