SCHOOLS' FOOTBALL - INTER DISTRICT MATCH
Played at Douglas Eyre Sports Centre on 12th October 2002
HACKNEY under 11' s 0, Newham Under 11' s 4.

Hackney's new squad of youngsters showed plenty of promise in this early-season match at Douglas Eyre, but only after Newham had taken control in the first-half and eased into a three-goal lead.
Only then did Hackney create their first chance when Sasa completed a dazzling solo run with a low shot which was well-saved.
The home side showed more confidence after the interval, and the ball skills of Fallah and Mason-Blair began influence the balance of play, but Hackney could never find a cutting edge which would have brought them back into the game and it was Newham who completed the scoring with a late breakaway goal.
