SCHOOLS' FOOTBALL -
KAY TROPHY
Played at Burgess Park, on Saturday 22nd January 2000
BERMONDSEY Under 11's 1, HACKNEY Under 11's 4

Hackney stayed on course to retain the Kay Trophy with this splerndid team performance. The game was virtually decided in the first ten minutes as ANTON AGDOMAR and MARLON MARRIOTT-DIXON (2)put the visitors three up in the mud.

Bermondsey could not match the crisp passing of the Hackney boys and had to thank their goalkeeper for preventing further goals before the interval.

The south Londoners then threatened briefly when they pulled one back from a free-kick but a late strike from Marriott-Dixon completed a splendid hat-trick and gave the final score a more emphatic appearance.

Hackney Under 11's: Gultekin (Woodberry Down), Kates (Millfields), Ozomusi (Benthal), Drew, Capt. (Gayhurst), Smyth (William Patten), Smith, Agdomar (Tyssen), Stokes (Gainsborough), Marriott-Dixon (St. Matthias), Asiedu (Holy Trinity).
