Hackney's youngsters could not shake off their Millennium blues in a dismal first-half peformance which saw them trail Dartford 1-0 in the first-ever meeting between these two teams.

It took an equaliser from ADRIAN CLIFTON for Hackney to click into top gear and they thenproved to be more than a match for the skilful and well-organised visitors. Close-rage efforts from MARLON MARRIOTT-DIXON and CHRISTIAN ASIEDU eased Hackney into a 3-2- lead before a late penalty restored parity.

Eevn then, Dartford had to defend in numbers to keep out goal-bound shots from Marriott-Dixon and Asiedu.
