Playing into a gusty wind, Hackney's Adrian Clifton and Sean Bonnett-Johnson soon brought the visitors' goalkeeper into action, but he could do nothing to stop ANTON AGDOMAR's looping header as Hackney took the lead after ten minutes.
Hackney kept up the pressure, but there were no more goals until the second half when MARLON MARRIOTT-DIXON made the most of Bonnett-Johnson's perfectly weighted through ball to slide the ball home.
CLIFTON and CHRISTIAN ASIEDU and MARRIOTT-DIXON all broke through the Redbridge defence to add individual goals and MARRIOTT-DIXON completed his hat-trick and the scoring with a delightful chip taken on the turn.
Hackney's next match will be on Saturday 1st April when they meet Wandsworth in the re-arranged Kay Trophy semi-final at Douglas Eyre (10.30a.m.) This will be followed by the Crisp Shield Final on 8th April - details to be
announced.
