SCHOOLS' FOOTBALL -
LESTER FINCH TROPHY
Played at Victoria Park on Saturday 12th February 2000
TOWER HAMLETS Under 11's 1, HACKNEY U.11's 0

Tower Hamlets played much of this game with ten men but they still managed to edge out Hackney and claim three valuable Finch Trophy points at Victoria Park.

Hackney twice went close in a first half of few chances, but when they failed to clear a free-kick after the interval, Tower Hamlets struck with the vital goal from close range.

The visitors struggled to find their best form throughout and, despite dominating the final stages, failed to score for the first time this season.

Hackney Under 11's: Gultekin (Woodberry Down), Kates (Millfields), Drew, Capt. (Gayhurst). Ozomusi (Benthal), Bingham (Baden Powell), Smith, Agdomar (Tyssen), Stokes (Gainsborough), Clifton (Princess May), Asiedu (Holy Trinity), Marriott-Dixon (St. Matthias).
