SCHOOLS' FOOTBALL -
KAY TROPHY SEMI-FINAL

played at Douglas Eyre Sports Centre on Saturday 2nd April 2000

HACKNEY Under 11's 2, WANDSWORTH Under 11's 0.

Kay Trophy holders Hackney reached their second final of the season but had to wait until the last few minutes to confirm their superiority with goals.

Asiedu struck the bar as Hackney prospered in a goal-less first-half and then the lively Agdomar saw his fierce cross-shot palmed away.

The south Londoners provided stubborn defence as Hackney surged forward but were finally beaten ten minutes from time when ADRIAN CLIFTON thumped home a loose ball from ten yards.

Leading scorer, MARLON MARRIOTT-DIXON wrapped up the game with seconds to go when he took advantage of a goal keeping error to slide the ball into the net.
