That's what the Manx claim, BUT it's no idle boast. June's TT Festival should be a must for every biker. If you really want to see how that Italian beauty runs, take it over to the island and give it some on those de-restricted roads. Very challenging to ride quickly, but sooo verry rewarding - EXCELLENT!
A word of warning though, those roads are not for the faint of heart, and will suck any unwary rider into an untimely exit :-) Many bends, especially across the Mountain tighten up on you ...... enjoy, but you've been warned.
I've got the bug, have you? - I've booked my ferry crossings, so I'll see you there in 2001!
Manx Radio (MW/AM) for 2 weeks becomes TT Radio complete with guest presenters and commentators. It's essential listening for all bikers and race fans.
It has full race commentaries from around the circuit, and in between lots of good music & chat (Thanks!).
So don't forget your little portable radio to keep in touch with the races while you're there :-)
For those that can't make it the above web-site from 2000 will for 2 weeks have 'Real Audio' with 24 hour coverage of RadioTT. At night (Manx time) there's a repeat of the preceding day's race commentaries just for those who are out of sync with GMT.
Need Ferry details, then there only the one choice - Isle Of Man Steam Packet Company. As far as I know they don't have a Web page, but here's their Email address res@steam-packet.com (or just click on this link:-)
Steam Packet's Sea Cat chops the run from Liverpool to Douglas down to 150 minutes (sea conditions permitting!! ;-).
