The big V-twin has new suspension front and rear, a 60mm (2.4in) lower seat, slimmer sidepanels and new fuel-injection.
The first bikes will arrive in the UK in June 1998.
The Daytona RS shares the frame, suspension, brakes & wheels with the 1100 Sport Injection but uses the newer 992cc V-twin with 4 valves per cylinder & the Weber Marelli injection producing 102bhp. Another true Guzzi sports bike.

The V10 Centauro is Moto Guzzi's answer to the 'street bike' style. An all new bike using a torquey version of the 992cc Daytona OHC fuel injected engine in a monobox frame. White Power suspension front & rear complete a neat package.

The 1100 Sport Injection is a real classic sports bike which uses the 1064cc pushrod V-twin with 2 valves per cylinder which combined with the Weber Marelli fuel injection kicks out 90bhp. Suspension is White Power front & rear and Marchesini wheels and Brembo brakes complete the package.
The California 1100 is a laid back tourer which uses the 1064cc pushrod engine with the fuel injection. tuned to give power of 75bhp at 6400rpm and torque of 9.7kgm at 5000 rpm.
