When and where do you fly?

At the moment do not own our own flying site, which means we fly wherever we are able on the day. Most of the sites we use are within either Surrey or GLSW area. If you know of a suitable field that we could use for parascending, please let us know. It needs to be approximately 20 to 30 acres in size and free from obstacles.

The one day introductory parascending course normally starts at 9.30am and finishes at approximately 5.30pm. The course syllabus covers the teaching of the Parachute Landing Fall (PLF), how the canopy works, safety and finally three launches.

We are totally dependant on the weather conditions for operations to proceed, and as a result activities are subject to cancellation at short notice. In the event we do our best to arrange another date as soon as possible. If we are unable to re-book you by the end of our flying year (November) then a refund will be available.

If you are a Scout or Scout leader or just interested and would wish to fly with us, please send me an email mpolley@argonet.co.uk or contact the club secretary Nicola Sykes.
