Malcolm Doyle, a Salvation Army officer, is in need of our prayers, please.
He was admitted to a Birmingham Hospital last week with breathing problems. Hospital tests showed that he had an enlarged heart: further tests are arranged for the week ending 8th February.
The doctors are hoping that a heart bypass will solve the problem but Malcolm knows that the most likely scenario is that he will be placed on the heart-donor list. Please remember Malcolm, his wife Josie and the family in your prayers.
