As you know, I am quite famous these days, not just for these Scratchings columns but for my involvement in several activities on what the humans call "the Internet". I know that sounds a bit like a way of catching fish (fish? yummy!) but it‘s just an outlet for my talents.
As a founder member of the Internet Cat Cult I quickly became well known; but then other cats started writing to me with their problems and queries. So now I have become what I am told is called an Agony Uncle. Apparently one of the first humans in this field was named Maggie Proops, so I am calling myself Moggy Proops for this rôle.
As an experiment, I have also turned my paw to feline astrology, and have started making simple forecasts for the year under the name of Mystic Mog. All of this, as well as some new photographs, is on our website (and that sounds like where spiders gather but isn‘t). Here‘s an excerpt:
My name is Bentley and I am 7 years old and I am an orange tabby. My mommy said I could write to ask you a question is this true?
My question is: Is it bad manners to fall asleep while I‘m eating?

As to your question above, I‘d say: only if someone else notices. It can also be a bit messy and one has to wash oneself yet again—not that we mind that, of course, but dried gravy and bits of jelly can be a bit of a bind to get out of one‘s fur.
