



The SENIT Forum
An e-mail network for anyone involved in using technology in the education of learners with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties.
The purpose of the SENIT forum is to share information and good practice about how ICT can be used to support learners with special educational needs.

You will be welcomed to the list and be able to participate, contribute and benefit from its activities.
There are at present about 400 members from several different countries covering a wide range of expertise in the use of Information Technology with special educational needs.

Word prediction and writing aids
Physical access: switches, overlay boards, keyboards, mice, joysticks and touchscreens
Voice recognition
Access to the computer by people with visual difficuties
Accessible mutimedia
Access to the internet
Integrated Learning systems
Remember that this list has been set up to meet your needs; very few
requests for help are likely to be ignored. Please do not feel that what you wish to know is too trivial to ask. Similarly, the list will only be of value
if you offer advice and information to others, as well as asking questions.
