A band I have been privileged enough to see live three times, most recently at the Astoria in January 1999, managing to meet them once in the process. And lovely they were too!
Their first album, Attack Of the Grey Lantern, I fell in love with instantly (especially the strings on The Chad Who Loved Me - oooh), and though their second one, Six, seems a lot darker (almst suicidal in places!) they still show a knack for beautiful arrangement in their songs. And the clever part is that they can reproduce it live.
