Five visible White Horses in Wiltshire/Oxfordshire can be seen in a scenic 70 mile tour taking approximately 3 hours. The purpose of the tour is not to stop at the Horses but to see them from the road.

The AGM was a long and eventful meeting, which was attended by about 70 members. Following a vote by gathered mebers, the Pete Brendan was elected as the new Chairman of ILOC and a number of new Committee Members were also brought on board. There was a subtle change made to the constitution to remove the position of Associate Member and for all members of the ILOC to be entitled to the rights of a full member.
The Rising Sun, Altarnun, Launceston, Cornwall
The Gloucestershire chapter of the ILOC (all 3 of them:-) are organising a pub rally in Cornwall for April 2001. It will be held at the Rising Sun Inn, Altarnun, from Friday 13th to Sunday 16th May.
Altarnun is just north of the A30, about 8 miles west of Launceston, Cornwall.
The format for the weekend will be very informal - just turn up and enjoy yourself. As a special concession to the ILOC, camping at the pub is being provided free! This is on condition that we drink lots of ale, so come on down and give us a hand. The Rising Sun is a cracking pub that is well used to hosting motorcycle clubs and is very bike friendly, and you are guaranteed to have a good time.
Showers and toilets are on-site and food is available in the pub, though breakfasts need to be by arrangement.
So come on, see you there.

This annual get-together should be on every Laverdisti's calendar. The venue is that used successfully for the 2000 ILOC/Guzzi Club Rally.
Choice of 2 ride-outs on the Saturday;
one up North to the Great Glen, Glencoe, Fort William, Oban and back to Stirling. Approx 200 miles and 4.5 hours (or thereabouts ;-). I can assure those who have not been over these roads that they are worth the visit alone! Glencoe is truly beautiful in a wild, wild 3 figure way.
the other ride is a more leisurely 60 miles and visits a Malt whiskey distillery near Loch Lomond for a tour and a tipple(!). The road along Loch Lomand is also a good run.
Cost Ukp 15.00 per person, to include a T-shirt and plaque. There will also be a UKp5.00 children's ticket (no T-shirt/plaque though).
