Alexander and Ann were married around 25th May 1834 in Old Monkland. This date is from their proclamation of the bands, the only record of their marriage as far as I'm aware. They had two children; Betty Davie born on 9th January 1835 in Old Monkland, and John born on 26th March 1837.

Alexander died a few years before his son married. His death may not have been recorded, but may be one of the following; GRO Search.

Ann died a few years after her son married. Her death may not have been recorded, but may be one of the following; GRO Search.

I have yet to find the parents of Alexander and Anne.
